I am rewriting SOML as a RenPy game, you will see a new link when I feel like it is ready for a beta view.
What is it?
- A life simulation game that draws upon the familiarity of BitLife while being completely distinct in style and play. You are Reuben Sterling, a struggling musician with a desire to become a famous musician while still balancing your life, friendships, and love life without becoming jaded.
- Every choice you make has a notable impact on the way the game plays out.
- It offers quality art for each character you meet with and an authentic style for how they communicate.
- It features a rich storyline with some surprise twists and turns.
What it is NOT.
- It is not a BitLife clone. Eventually it will play more like a graphic novel game than anything else.
- A full-featured 2D or 3D life simualtion game – I am not trying to compete with The Sims.
- A sexually explicit romp for adults
- Complete.
Feel free to give it a try. Each day that I make notable updates, I will update the core game files at the hosting site so that you can play the latest version. Please use the Bug Report feature if you find anything that does not appear to work or works in a way that is different than you might expect.
