Hello friends! I am still chopping away at the backlog on Soundtrack of My Life, but it is really coming along. For a minor break, I decided to make a fun weekend project: a clone of the famous Oregon Trail, one of the first computer games I ever played. Granted, I generally played it on an Apple IIe, and that version has a number of copyrighted items. Instead, I used the designer’s original source code and retrofitted it with React/Node.js and Vite.
The result is Westward, and it is now available for you to play with. Have fun!
